Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, I welcome commissions and enjoy creating bespoke pieces that carry personal meaning. If you have a vision or story you'd like to explore through art, please get in touch via the Contact page to discuss timelines, pricing, and process.
I’m a gallery or curator—how can I view available works or discuss a potential collaboration?
I’d be delighted to hear from you. Please use the Contact page to introduce yourself and share your interest. High-resolution images, artist statements, and press-ready materials are available upon request.
Can I visit the studio in person?
My studio is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 9:30am and 5:00pm. If you’d like a private viewing of the work at any other time please get in touch in advance to arrange a visit - I’d love to welcome you and share the stories behind the work.
Why are the images watermarked and not high resolution?
To protect the integrity of my work, all images displayed online are medium resolution and watermarked. This helps prevent unlawful downloading or misuse of the artwork, while still allowing you to appreciate the detail and texture of each piece. If you're a gallery, collector, or buyer wishing to view high-resolution images for consideration, please get in touch directly.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I do. Please contact me with your location and the artwork you're interested in, and I’ll provide a tailored quote including insured, tracked shipping.
Is the artwork ready to hang?
All paintings and wall-mounted pieces come with appropriate fixings and are ready to hang unless otherwise stated. Sculptural or freestanding works will include display notes or stands as needed.
How should I care for my artwork?
All artworks are made with high-quality, archival materials, but like all handmade pieces, they benefit from care. Avoid placing works in direct sunlight or damp environments. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth - never use water or cleaning products. For 3D or mixed media pieces, please handle with care and avoid touching delicate embellishments.
Are your artworks available for exhibition or loan?
Yes. Selected works may be available for short- or long-term exhibition loans depending on availability and the nature of the show. Please contact me with details about your gallery or event, and I’ll be happy to discuss logistics and requirements.
Do your artworks come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. All original artworks come with a signed certificate of authenticity, verifying the title, date, materials used, and confirmation that it is a genuine piece by Deborah Phillips. This is included with your purchase and is ideal for provenance, insurance, or collection records.
How are artworks packaged for delivery?
Every artwork is packaged with the utmost care to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully. Sculptures are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, padded with eco-conscious materials, and boxed securely. Paintings and textile works are protected with glassine paper or bubble wrap, with rigid outer packaging. Where possible, I reuse quality packaging to reduce waste.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, I’m happy to arrange international shipping for most pieces. Due to the nature of some sculptural or fragile artworks, international delivery may require a custom courier quote. Please get in touch to discuss location and logistics.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For available artworks, I aim to dispatch within 5 working days. For commissions or made-to-order items, I’ll confirm timelines when you order. Tracking details will be provided once your piece has shipped.
Can I collect in person?
